Going to a general dentistry appointment is vital for your teeth and gums. There are certain foods and drinks that can affect your oral health. Foods that are bad for teeth include sugary sweets and candies, carbonated sodas and sports drinks, citrus fruits and juices, starchy foods like chips and bread, and alcohol. Foods that are good for teeth include dairy products like cheese and yogurt, crunchy vegetables, nuts, water, and green and black teas. Making mindful choices about your diet can significantly impact your oral health between dental visits.
