Ideal Candidate Traits for Invisalign Therapy

One of the most common orthodontic treatments that a general dentist offers is Invisalign. Ideal candidates for Invisalign include those with mild to moderate orthodontic issues such as crowding, spacing, and bite problems. Good candidates also have good overall oral health, are committed to wearing the aligners 20-22 hours per day, and are responsible about keeping and wearing their aligners as directed. Invisalign may not be suitable for severe orthodontic cases, young children with still-developing teeth, or patients who cannot commit to wearing the aligners consistently.
